TRAMWAY HOURS FOR PRESIDENTS’ DAY WEEKEND

Extended Hours on Monday, February 20

PALM SPRINGS, CA (February 6, 2023) The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will observe special holiday hours during Presidents’ Day Weekend February 18-20, 2023, with the first tram car up each day at 8:00 a.m., the last tram car up at 8:00 p.m. and the last tram car down at 9:30 p.m. Tram cars depart at least every 30 minutes.

Enjoy a day or evening above the desert floor exploring the 14,000-acre Mt. San Jacinto State Park & Wilderness and be awed by spectacular Coachella Valley vistas from the Mountain Station. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking attire and extra layering to keep warm.

Tram admission is $29.95 for adults and $17.95 for children ages 3-10. After 4:00 p.m., Twilight Tickets are $26.95 for adults and seniors, and $14.95 for children ages 3-10.

MEDIA ALERT – TRAM OPEN

Tramway to Reopen Today

PALM SPRINGS, CA (January 18, 2023) – The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will reopen today, January 18, with regular hours of operation. The first tram car up will be at 10:00 a.m., the last tram car up will be at 8:00 p.m. and the last tram car down will be at 9:30 p.m.

According to Vice President of Maintenance Joe Rose, “Our electrical control board began having issues on Sunday. We believe the issues were caused by power surges from the storm. We have since remedied the issue and have run multiple tests to make sure everything is operating as usual.”

We thank our patrons for their understanding during the past several days of non-operation.

Tramway to Remain Closed Monday, January 16

PALM SPRINGS, CA (January 15, 2023) – Due to continuing technical issues, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will remain closed Monday, January 16. We will provide more updates as they become available.
