Navigation
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway facilities, including the Valley Station, Mountain Station, and tram cars, are accessible in accordance with ADA guidelines. Accessible entrances and routes, elevators, common areas, and restrooms are available throughout the premises.
While the Tramway’s facilities are accessible, please be aware that Mount San Jacinto State Park, including its trails, does not meet ADA guidelines due to uneven and unpaved terrain.

Disability Parking
Guests who purchase a parking pass will be guided by the officer at the security gate to the designated accessible parking lot. Vehicles or vans using this parking area must display the appropriate placard, tabs, or license plates. Please be aware that spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
Limited Mobility Drop-Off
When dropping off or picking up guests with limited mobility, please utilize the Guest Drop-Off and Pick-Up area as indicated by signage.

Our sensory guides are designed to assist visitors in preparing for and navigating the various sensory stimuli they may encounter while exploring the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway facilities.
Hearing-Impaired Individuals
For our hearing-impaired guests, printed scripts of the tram car’s audible narration are available at the ticket booth. Video monitors located in the boarding room, San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Theaters, as well as the Tramway History Museum, are all equipped with closed captioning.
For readable, self-guided tours of the Tramway, visitors can utilize the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway App to explore Tram highlights and discover more about the wildlife in Mount San Jacinto State Park.

Vision-Impaired Individuals
For our vision-impaired guests, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has Braille signs located near entrances/exits, elevators, and restrooms.
Service Animals
Trained service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcome at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Pets, companion or therapy animals, and emotional-support animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Unless special circumstances exist, service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals are also welcomed at Mount San Jacinto State Park.
