August 11, 2025 – Please be advised that the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway remains closed until further notice.
According to Tramway Systems Vice President Chris Bartsch, “The replacement part has been located, but a shipment date has not yet been provided. The part is a motor contactor that supplies power from the Tram drive to the Tram motor.”
A confirmed reopening date remains unknown, but updates will be provided as information becomes available.
